04/07/14 - CB Cassius Vaughn agreed to a one-year contract with the Lions.
Vaughn started 15 games for the Indianapolis Colts over the last two seasons. The Colts acquired him in a 2012 trade with the Denver Broncos.
In 2013, Vaughn had 30 tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble. He has five career interceptions, with the first two returned for touchdowns. He started his NFL career in 2010 after signing as an undrafted free agent with the Broncos, starting three games as a rookie.
12/11/13 - CB Cassius Vaughn handled kickoffs last week after RB Chris Rainey was injured and is expected to handle those chores for the remainder of this season. Vaughn also returned kicks for the Colts last year. He has also excelled as one of Indianapolis' nickel corners, leading the team with three interceptions.
