David was named a first-team All-SEC performer by the coaches again this season after receiving a second-team nod on Monday. David has shattered nearly every LSU career kicking and scoring record this season after connecting on 15-of-20 field goals. In 2008, he became the school’s all-time leading scorer surpassing Kevin Faulk and stands at 361 career points. - LSU football

11/24/08 - SEC WEEK 13 SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Colt David accounted for seven points, including two field goals and an extra-point attempt, in LSU's 31-13 loss to Ole Miss. David connected on both of his field goal attempts - 46 and 52 yards. David's 52-yard field goal is tied for the third longest made this season and has accounted for four of the nine longest field goals in the SEC this season. 11/18/08 - LOOKING GOOD: PK Colt David kicked a career-long 52-yard field goal vs. Troy that is tied for the fourth longest in school history. It was LSU's longest since Chris Jackson had a 53-yarder against Arkansas in 2004. David later added a 27-yarder that cut LSU's deficit to four points in the fourth quarter.
