05/30/13 - WR Joe Morgan was on the field Thursday morning for the final day of the team's second week of organized team activities after he was arrested over the weekend for drunken driving.
Morgan, a third-year pro, was found asleep in his parked car early Saturday morning, according to a Louisiana State Police spokesperson, on a stretch of highway not far from the team's Metairie training facility.
Morgan was given a field sobriety test and arrested after his blood-alcohol content registered at 0.218 percent -- nearly three times the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
Morgan was not present for the open locker room period for reporters Thursday, but coach Sean Payton said it was a lesson learned for Morgan and his teammates. But Payton stopped short of saying if Morgan will face disciplinary actions.
"I just think each team is faced with it at some point, hopefully less than more," Payton said. "It is what it is in regards to the lesson. You hope the other players, including Joe, learn from it. It's our job to keep re-enforcing the importance of being smart, making the right decisions."

Morgan's blood-alcohol level was 0.218 at the time he was stopped, which is more than twice the legal limit of 0.08. According to the Louisiana State Police report, Morgan also was driving without a license.
A trooper found Morgan asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle on an expressway. After he performed a field sobriety test, Morgan was arrested.
Morgan was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center and later released on $1,150 bond.
A Saints representative told the Times-Picayune that the team had no comment on the arrest.
