 Draft Scout Jon Asamoah News
11/28/12 - RG Jon Asamoah missed a game due to his broken right thumb, but he was back in action last Sunday against Denver and struggled at times blocking with his right hand heavily wrapped and his thumb in a brace. Asamoah said the hard part is being able to reach out, punch and grab with just four fingers on his right hand, without the help of that thumb.
11/23/12 - RG Jon Asamoah continues to get used to the cast on his right thumb that's protecting an injury he suffered two weeks ago. He's been fitted with a brace and cast and doctors and trainers are waiting to see how he handles those protective coverings in practice.
11/18/12 - RG Jon Asamoah missed the Cincinnati game due to a thumb injury that he suffered in the Monday night game against Pittsburgh. Asamoah had surgery on his right thumb last week and did not practice all week.
11/15/12 - RG Jon Asamoah will not play on Sunday against Cincinnati after undergoing surgery on his right thumb. Asamoah suffered the injury in Monday night's game against Pittsburgh but did not leave the field. His absence will snap a streak of 25 straight starts the third-year guard has made.
11/14/12 - RG Jon Asamoah sustained a right thumb injury against Pittsburgh and his status for the Cincinnati game is up in the air. Asamoah did not take part in Wednesday's practice.
