01/16/13 - WR Kris Adams was signed by the Giants Tuesday to a contract for 2013.
10/07/12 - CB Kris Adams was waived by the Colts on Saturday from the active roster.
09/11/12 - WR Kris Adams continues to impress. A former Bear and Viking, Adams had two receptions for 26 yards against Chicago in his first extended playing time in the NFL. He caught the eye of Colts coaches during OTAs and training camp. With Austin Collie coming off a concussion and
08/04/12 - Former UTEP WR Kris Adams was a bit of an unknown during OTAs and when training camp first started. But Adams has certainly opened a few eyes over the past week. He made two spectacular catches on throws by backup QB Drew Stanton, including a one-handed grab on a pass thrown a bit behind him.
06/06/12 - WR Kris Adams was signed by the Colts. Adams, 6-3, 194 pounds, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chicago Bears on July 26, 2011. He was signed to the Bears' practice squad on September 5 where he remained until October 11. Adams was signed to the St. Louis Rams practice squad on October 18 before being released on November 8. He was then signed to the Minnesota Vikings practice squad on December 14 where he spent the remainder of the season. Adams was signed to a Reserve/Future contract by the Vikings on January 2, 2012 and was then released on May 14. Adams spent his collegiate career at UTEP and ranked second in school history in touchdown receptions (30), third in yards per catch (18.5), fourth in receiving yards (2,657), tied for fourth in 100-yard games (10) and seventh in receptions (144). He tied for sixth on Conference USA's career touchdown receptions list and ranks 18th in receiving yards. Adams made 35 starts for the Miners, including 34 over his final three seasons. He earned honorable mention All-Conference USA honors as a senior.
