Draft Scout Mario Harvey News
10/03/14 - LB Mario Harvey was waived from reserve/injured with an injury settlement by the Colts Friday (Oct. 3).
09/29/14 - LB Mario Harvey was waived/injured by the Colts Saturday (Sept. 27). He cleared waivers Monday and was placed on reserve/injured. Harvey played in 28 career games with the Colts (2012-14) and recorded 15 tackles (13 solo) and 16 special teams stops. In three games this season, he posted one special teams tackle, spending time at both the fullback and inside linebacker positions. Harvey was originally signed by the Colts to a reserve/future contract on Jan. 20, 2012.
09/24/14 - OLB Mario Harvey (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday. Harvey has seen work for the Colts both as a fullback and in his natural position as an outside linebacker. He is expected to be available for the Tennessee game on Sunday, but he will probably be a game-time decision.
09/11/14 - FB/LB Mario Harvey is becoming a man of many positions. Harvey was originally signed by the Colts to be an outside linebacker. But he was moved to fullback last spring, where he has played during training camp, the preseason and into the regular season. With injuries at the linebacker position, Harvey is now splitting his time between three positions. He is seeing work in practice as a fullback, inside linebacker and outside linebacker. Harvey is also wearing a new number (No. 55).
07/24/14 - With Stanley Havili being placed on the PUP list, former linebacker turned fullback Mario Harvey has taken over with the first-team offensive unit. Harvey made the move to fullback this past offseason and has progressed well in his transition to a new position.
