12/24/09 - LB Moise Fokou is expected to start at strong-side linebacker Sunday against the Broncos. The rookie will replace struggling Chris Gocong, who has been benched.
11/12/09 - LB Moise Fokou or second-year man Joe Mays may start Sunday against the Chargers if WLB Akeem Jordan is unable to play.
In the Eagles' base defense, defensive coordinator Sean McDermott is expected to slide MLB Will Witherspoon over to Jordan's weak-side spot. SLB Chris Gocong, who missed last week's game with a hamstring injury, would move into the middle, and the rookie Fokou or Mays

Gocong is nursing hamstring and quad injuries and is listed as doubtful. "He's alright. He'll be ready," said coach Andy Reid. "He's been working hard at that. Even when Chris was healthy he would go in and take reps during practice so he stayed on top of things. He'll be okay."
