Draft Scout Nate Irving News
09/09/15 - ILB Nate Irving (knee) saw limited practice on Wednesday. Irving continues to be on a pitch count during practice and his availability for this week's game at Buffalo is yet to be determined. He missed most of last season while playing in Denver. A final decision on his ability to play against the Bills will be made after Friday's workout.
08/27/15 - ILB Nate Irving has seen his practice work ramped up a bit in recent days. Irving has been nursing a knee injury that required surgery last year when he played in Denver. He had seen very limited work in individual drills until recently. Irving has been getting 10 to 15 reps per day in team drills.
08/20/15 - ILB Nate Irving has been seeing individual work as he continues to rehab from a knee injury that sidelined him for the final eight games of the 2014 season while playing for Denver. He is not expected to play Saturday night against the Bears.
03/20/15 - LB Nate Irving left the Broncos for the Colts Friday (March 20).
03/08/15 - LB Nate Irving, unrestricted FA update, was en route to his best season before tearing his MCL at New England in Week 9. If he returns, it would likely be as a backup, given that Elway has already identified Brandon Marshall and Danny Trevathan as the top two inside linebackers. But Irving has value and can back up at three linebacker positions, and with concerns over the state of Trevathan's knee, the Broncos could bring him back as an experienced, improving insurance policy.
