Post-Draft Outlook:
A closer look at the Broncos' picks: Round 2/64 -- Richard Quinn, TE, 6-4, 260, North Carolina...Few players used the months before the draft better than Quinn. He had a low grade after catching only 12 passes in college, but impressed at the Combine and workouts and landed in the second round. The Broncos like his hands despite the lack of production in the passing game in college, and along with Daniel Graham, Quinn can provide a good blocking punch at tight end. - by The Sports Xchange

 Draft Scout *Richard Quinn News
07/22/10 - TE Richard Quinn could be on the hot seat. He was a second-round pick last year who caught only a dozen passes in college. The Broncos took a leap of faith and he produced almost nothing. He will be watched closely in camp.
01/03/10 - TE Richard Quinn played extensively against the Chiefs with Tony Scheffler inactive, but didn't have a catch. Quinn, a second-round pick, did not make a catch his entire rookie season.
12/09/09 - TE Richard Quinn could see some extra playing time this week if the Broncos decide to go big and run against Indianapolis. Quinn has played special teams and in jumbo packages on offense as a rookie this year.
09/23/09 - TE Richard Quinn will play in multiple tight end sets but won't do much more than block. However, the rookie showed during camp that he can be a part of the passing offense in the future.
09/09/09 - TE Richard Quinn, a second-round pick out of North Carolina, pleaded innocent to charges of harassment and domestic violence stemming from an argument with his live-in girlfriend on Labor Day. He was released on a personal recognizance bond and has a January trial date. "I have talked to Richard and I'm not going to comment on it," coach Josh McDaniels said Tuesday. "We're going to support him and also let the legal process play out and again I'm not going to comment on that whole situation."
