12/19/08 - AP LITTLE ALL-AMERICA SECOND TEAM: Jerry Seymour, senior, Glenville State, has been selected AP Little All-American Second Team for the 2008 college football season as voted on by the Associated Press. The Little All-America Team is comprised of the top players in Division II, III and NAIA. Seymour established a new WVIAC rushing record with 2282 yards in 2008. The senior leads Division II in rushing and went over the 200-yard mark in seven contests, including the Pioneers' final four games. His 349-yard effort at Concord is the highest single-game total in Division II this season and is a Glenville State school record. The Miramar, Florida senior rambled for 3996 yards in only 22 games at Glenville State to rank sixth on the WVIAC career rushing list. He holds the GSC career rushing mark and scored at least one touchdown in 21 of 22 contests as a Pioneer. - Glenville State football

Seymour currently leads Division II in rushing at 204.5 yards per game. The senior owns six games this season with 200 or more yards. His 2045 yards are a new WVIAC regular season rushing mark.
