Draft Scout Jeff Allen News
09/15/14 - OL Jeff Allen (triceps) was placed on reserve/injured by the Chiefs Friday (Sept. 12).
09/11/14 - RT Jeff Allen did not practice with the Chiefs on Wednesday due to a biceps strain in his right arm. Allen suffered the injury in the first half of last Sunday's game against Tennessee. The strain is at the spot where the muscle connects with bone, near Allen's elbow. He played most of the second half against the Titans with the injury, but essentially he would be a one-armed blocker.
09/11/14 - RT Jeff Allen missed Thursday's Chiefs practice due to the strained right biceps he suffered in last Sunday's game against Tennessee. Allen has not been on the practice field this week and the chances of playing in Denver this Sunday are slim at this point.
09/08/14 - RT Jeff Allen suffered a right elbow/biceps injury in Sunday's game against Tennessee. Allen was injured late in the first half and missed 18 plays in all but he did get back on the field for most of the second half. He was undergoing testing on Monday and his status for this weekend's game against Denver won't be decided until test results are back.
09/03/14 - OL Jeff Allen continues to work as the starting right tackle in the Chiefs offensive line preparing for Sunday's game against Tennessee. Allen played both left and right tackle at the University of Illinois, but since joining the Chiefs he's played only at guard. He's stepping in for the suspended starter at the position, Donald Stephenson.
