10/31/12 - CB Bill Bentley (shoulder) was a limited participant in practice last week but didn't play Sunday. He didn't practice at all on Wednesday, which may be an indication the Lions are considering surgery.
10/24/12 - CB Bill Bentley (shoulder) did not participate Wednesday.
10/23/12 - CB Bill Bentley (shoulder) also didn't play. The fact the Lions signed Alphonso Smith and Justin Miller late last week indicates he might be out a while.
10/18/12 - CB Bill Bentley (shoulder) also didn't practice Thursday, but there is still a chance he will play on Monday.
10/17/12 - CB Bill Bentley (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday. He has had the shoulder pop out more than once this season. Cornerback Chris Houston and former Lions cornerback Aaron Berry both had similar conditions and both ultimately needed surgery to correct the problem. "I don't know (about surgery)," Bentley said. "I will just have to wait until further notice."
