10/23/13 - DB Sanders Commings, coming back from a broken collarbone, is in his second week of practicing as an injured-reserve list player that was designated for a possible return. Commings will have this week and next week to show the coaching staff he is ready to contribute.
By then the Chiefs must make a decision on whether to activate him, or leave him on the injured list for the rest of the season.
10/18/13 - DB Sanders Commings has returned to practice this week, his first practice work since July 24th when he suffered a broken collarbone in rookie camp before the start of training camp. Commings was placed on injured-reserve/designated for return, and under the NFL rules he can practice for the next several weeks and then either be added to the active roster or left on injured-reserve. He's the Chiefs fifth-round draft choice out of Georgia.
09/04/13 - DB Sanders Commings was placed on the injured-reserve list/designated for return on Tuesday. He suffered a broken clavicle on July 24 during the rookie opening of training camp. He has not practiced since and will not be allowed to practice until after Game No. 6 of the regular season.
09/03/13 - DB Sanders Commings did not practice on Monday as he continues to rehab a broken clavicle. Commings remains two to four weeks away from getting back on the field.
09/01/13 - DB Sanders Commings continues to rehab a broken clavicle and has not gotten the go ahead to do more than work in some position drills. He's probably another two to four weeks away.
