 Draft Scout Marcus Cooper News
09/19/16 - CB Marcus Cooper on being traded by the Chiefs to the Cardinals two weeks before the start of this season: "I looked at it as a blessing. This was a great defense with All-Pros everywhere. It was a better situation for me, so I was happy. To be able to come to a team that was stacked like this?"
09/02/16 - CB Marcus Cooper was acquired in a trade with the Chiefs on Friday in exchange for an undisclosed draft pick in 2018. Cooper was originally a seventh-round draft pick of the 49ers in 2013. He spent the past three season with Kansas City, with whom he appeared in 39 games (11 starts).

09/11/14 - CB Marcus Cooper was back at practice on Wednesday after missing last Sunday's game against Tennessee with a sprained ankle suffered four days before the game. Cooper is expected to be ready to play against Denver this coming Sunday.
09/08/14 - CB Marcus Cooper was held out of the game against Tennessee on Sunday because of a sprained ankle he suffered last week during practice. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid expects him to be back on the practice field on Wednesday and should be available to play against Denver this coming Sunday.
