04/28/13 - Coach Greg Schiano has plenty of familiarity with Glennon, the one-time Virginia high school player of the year whom he tried to recruit to Rutgers five years ago. "I remember exactly what I said to him and he didn't really like the answer but I wanted to play in the ACC," Glennon said.
Glennon possesses the kind of arm strength that will allow him to function in the Bucs' offense that puts a premium on play-action passing and driving the football downfield. Moreover, he played in a pro-style offense at North Carolina State and learned a lot backing up Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson for three years. "Being with him for three years I just learned everything he does behind the scenes," Glennon said. "He does everything the right way. He works tremendously hard. He always tries to find something to do. He never wastes a minute and always wants to get better. There's a lot I took away from Russell, not as much as stuff you see on Sundays but how he prepares." - The Sports Xchange
03/28/13 - 2013 North Carolina State Pro Day: North Carolina State did its pro day on March 20 indoors on a fast surface. Mike Glennon, QB (6-foot-6 7/8, 222) - Glennon had a good positional work out. He has a very strong arm and spins the ball well. 01/24/13 - 2013 Senior Bowl, Quarterbacks...3. Mike Glennon, North Carolina State. After three days there's pretty much no denying that he has a strong arm. That's not to say he's wholly consistent or mobile and that keeps him from being complete. Everything you've seen and read about him being a statuesque pocket passer is true and concerns about his accuracy down the middle of the field and being frenetic when under pressure are valid. There's work to be done on him but the consensus is that his arm has potential and that might be enough for a team to fall in love with him with a Top-30 pick. 01/24/13 - 2013 SENIOR BOWL, WEDNESDAY RISER: QB Mike Glennon, NC State (North Team)...This quarterback class is going to give NFL teams headaches as they try to sift through the talent, yet there is inconsistency among the top prospects. And Glennon might be the most talented, but streaky prospect at the Senior Bowl, although he has looked strong at times this week, having his best practice on Wednesday. He has the strongest arm in Mobile to effortlessly deliver strikes downfield, making concise NFL throws to all levels of the field.
