04/24/13 - 2013 NFL DRAFT RANG'S GANG: Wide Receiver: Chris Harper, Kansas State, 6-1, 229, 4.50...Playing in an offense based on Collin Klein's ability to run, Harper didn't post eye-popping numbers (58 catches for 857 yards and three touchdowns) but he was nonetheless given Second Team All-Big 12 honors from league coaches. He has enough speed to threaten the big play and the strength to shield defenders from the ball, often coming through with tough grabs with corners draped over him. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com
03/24/13 - 2013 Kansas State Pro Day: Chris Harper, WR (234 pounds) - Harper ran the 40 in 4.45 and 4.50 seconds. He ran the short-shuttle in 4.26. He looked good catching the ball. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com
03/13/13 - 2013 Kansas State Pro Day: The 6-1, 229-pound wideout shaved nearly a tenth of a second off of the 4.55-second 40-yard dash time he'd been credited with at the combine. While there have been reports saying Harper had run as fast as 4.38-seconds, a league source on hand for the workout had the receiver at 4.47-4.49 in this drill.
Harper does not play to this speed but is a very good receiver in his own right. He possesses a very well-built upper body which he uses well to shield defenders from the ball. This allows him to consistently make catches with defenders in close proximity to him. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com
02/20/13 - 2013 NFL Combine, Most to gain: Another player who could help his draft stock with a positive performance at Lucas Oil is Kansas State's Chris Harper, who led the Wildcats in receiving the past two seasons. He has drawn comparisons to Anquan Boldin due to his size (6-1, 228) and physical nature, but good workout numbers could cement Harper's draft grade in the top-75 picks. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
