Draft Scout Casey Hayward News
03/13/16 - CB Casey Hayward, who became an unrestricted free agent with the Packers March 9, agreed to terms with the Chargers Sunday (March 12).
11/13/15 - CB Casey Hayward (concussion) was cleared to resume football activities Thursday. Hayward practiced in limited fashion, four days after he sustained the head injury in the loss at Carolina. It's unknown whether the team may take a cautious approach and limit how much Hayward plays, if he does at all, against Detroit on Sunday.
11/11/15 - CB Casey Hayward (concussion) hasn't been cleared to return to the field after leaving the loss at the Carolina Panthers on Sunday with a head injury. Hayward must completed the NFL-mandated concussion protocol before he can get back on the field. That leaves Hayward's availability for the game Sunday against Detroit up in the air. If Hayward remains sidelined, the Packers likely would plug in Damarious Randall or fellow rookie Quinten Rollins in the starting lineup. An ill Randall didn't practice Wednesday, but Rollins returned as a full participant after missing the last game because of a neck injury.
11/09/15 - CB Casey Hayward left the Carolina game in the third quarter with a concussion. Hayward will need to complete the NFL-mandated concussion protocol as the week progresses to have any shot of playing Sunday against Detroit.
11/08/15 - CB Casey Hayward left the game against Carolina to be evaluated for a concussion. He was injured while taking part in a third-quarter tackle of Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart.
