03/29/13 - 2013 USC Pro Day: It was a similarly disappointing day for USC center Khaled Holmes, who cited a strained pectoral at the combine as the reason why he was unable to lift Wednesday. Holmes characterized the injury as "not serious" but said he had no plans at this time to lift for scouts before the draft. He did say that he had a number of private workouts lined up in the coming weeks, including a workout on campus Friday with the Philadelphia Eagles. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com
02/22/13 - USC center Khaled Holmes may not be able to work out at the NFL combine on Saturday after straining his pec during the bench press, according to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora. During the bench press, players are asked to do as many 225-pound reps as possible without stopping. South Carolina center T.J. Johnson did 32 reps on Friday, which was the most among centers. If Holmes can't participate on Saturday, he'll miss the offensive linemen's day for field drills and positional workouts. The Trojan center is currently ranked 130th overall in CBSSports.com's NFL Draft rankings and is projected to be taken in the fourth round. - John Breech, CBSSports.com
12/03/12 - 2012 RIMINGTON TROPHY AWARD FINALIST: Khaled Holmes (USC)...Holmes, a 3-year starting offensive lineman, has a 3.31 grade point average while working on a master's degree in communication management. He received his bachelor's degree in communication in the spring of 2011. He made the 2011 Pac-12 All-Academic second team after being 2010 Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention. - USC football
