03/01/17 - TE Travis Kelce underwent shoulder surgery and is expected to miss time during the team's offseason activities, coach Andy Reid said on Wednesday. Reid told the Kansas City Star that Kelce "had it cleaned up" but didn't think the 27-year-old would be sidelined for too long. "No, I don't think so," Reid said, via the newspaper. "He'll probably miss some time throughout the offseason, but he'll be ready, I believe, for camp."

01/21/17 - TE Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs was fined a total of $21,615 for actions during and after last week's 18-16 playoff loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to media reports. Kelce was fined $12,500 for his postgame comments about referee Carl Cheffers, who penalized Chiefs tackle Eric Fisher for holding on a two-point conversion that would have allowed Kansas City to tie the game with less than three minutes left to play. Kelce also was fined $9,115 for shoving cornerback Ross Cockrell of the Steelers to the ground after a play was over.
