Draft Scout Snapshot: A closer look at Raiders' picks: Round 3/66 - Sio Moore, OLB, 6-0, 245, Connecticut...Projected as an outside linebacker by coach Dennis Allen although he's played all over, Moore caught the eye of coaching staff at the Senior Bowl, where Oakland coached the North team. Plays with a chip on his shoulder and a mean streak. QUOTE TO NOTE: "The Raiders just got the best linebacker in the draft. I don't care who went before." -- Raiders third-round pick Sio Moore, No. 66 selection overall. - The Sports Xchange

04/29/13 - Third-round draft pick Sio Moore was a mid-week addition to the Senior Bowl North team, which just happened to be coached by the Raiders' staff. Moore said he hit it off with defensive coordinator Jason Tarver. "They know who I am. They know I play with juice," Moore said. "Here's a guy that we had an opportunity to spend a lot of time with at the Senior Bowl," Raiders coach Dennis Allen said. "We spent a week with this guy in the meeting rooms, in the dining hall, watching him interact with other players. You talk about a guy that loves football. We're trying o get as many quality football players as we can and he fits that mold." - The Sports Xchange
04/25/13 - DANE BRUGLER'S FINAL 2013 DRAFT BOARD: 45. OLB Sio Moore, Connecticut (6-1, 245, 5SR)...A versatile strong-side linebacker, Moore is scheme diverse with the talent to rush the passer, drop in space and hold up in zone coverage. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
04/24/13 - 2013 NFL DRAFT RANG'S GANG: OLB: Sio Moore, Connecticut, 6-1, 245, 4.62...Teams love all-purpose outside linebackers and they don't come much more versatile than Moore, who proved to be a playmaker for the Huskies whether slicing through gaps to collect an eye-popping 43 tackles for loss over his career, rushing the quarterback (16 sacks) or dropping into coverage (four interceptions). Some thought Moore was simply feasting off an aggressive UCONN scheme until he starred at the East-West Shrine Game and Senior Bowl, as well. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com
04/17/13 - 2013 Connecticut Pro Day: UConn’s Sio Moore meets with Pittsburgh Steelers...Representatives from 30 NFL teams - including linebackers coaches from seven teams - gathered at Connecticut’s pro day on March 27, where 13 players worked out indoors on FieldTurf. Connecticut coach Paul Pasqualoni hosted a really well-run pro day in Storrs, Conn. There were four players from UConn at the NFL Scouting Combine, and here is how their pro day transpired...Snorsio “Sio” Moore, OLB (6-foot-1 1/8, 243 pounds) - Moore stood on his numbers from the combine (he was a top performer in his position group in the 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump and broad jump). He did position drills only, and that workout was led by a linebackers coach from the Baltimore Ravens. Moore visited with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com
