10/07/15 - DE Earl Okine was signed by the Colts to their practice squad Monday (Oct. 5). Okine, 6-6, 290 pounds, played in three games (Weeks 1-3) for Indianapolis in 2015 and registered three tackles before being waived on October 1. He saw action with the Brooklyn Bolts of the Fall Experimental Football League (FXFL) in 2014, where he helped the team to a 4-0 mark. Okine also played for the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League (AFL) in 2014 and totaled 28 tackles (16 solo), 7.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, three passes defensed and one fumble recovery in 16 games. Prior to joining the Predators, he spent time with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

03/03/15 - DE Earl Okine was signed by the Colts Tuesday (March 3). The 6-foot-6, 284-pound Okine originally signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in May, 2013 but was waived three months later. Since then, he has played in the Canadian Football League, Arena Football League and Fall Experimental Football League.
With the Orlando Predators of the AFL last year, Okine compiled 28 tackles, including 7.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks, and had three passes defensed and one fumble recovery in 16 games.
Okine spent about a month in the CFL with the Calgary Stampeders in 2013 before he was released.
03/24/13 - 2013 Florida Pro Day: Florida held its pro day outdoors and under a light rain on Saturday. Workouts were held on FieldTurf and watched by 20 NFL team representatives. Sixteen Florida Gators participated. Earl Okine, DL (6-6 1/2, 284) - Okine ran the 40-yard dash in 5.14 and 5.23 seconds. He did 25 reps on the bench of 225 pounds, recorded a 33-inch vertical and a 9-foot-4 broad jump.
