11/15/12 - NT Dontari Poe has been limited in practices this week by a bruised knee that he suffered Monday night in Pittsburgh. Poe has started every game in his rookie season, but there's a real chance he may watch Sunday's game against Cincinnati from the sidelines.
11/13/12 - DT Dontari Poe suffered a knee injury in Pittsburgh during the Monday night game and his status for the next game on Sunday against Cincinnati is questionable.
11/04/12 - DT Dontari Poe continues to get more and more playing time as he's working in the base 3-4 defense at nose tackle and then stays on the field to rush the passer when the Chiefs go to a nickel or dime defense against the pass. The 2012 first-round draft choice has 15 tackles but no sacks up to this point.
10/29/12 - NT Dontari Poe continues to hold the starting spot in the Chiefs defense and he turned in the most productive game of his rookie season against Oakland with four tackles. On the season he now has 13 total tackles. Poe has started all seven games.
10/19/12 - NT Dontari Poe has gotten more and more playing time in recent weeks, even as the injury count on the defensive line has improved. The first-round draft choice has played 75 percent of the defensive snaps over the last three games, including 49 or 88 percent against Baltimore. In the first three games he was on the field for 45 percent of the defensive plays.
