09/14/13 - PK John Potter was signed by Washington and will kick vs. Green Bay with Kai Forbath (groin) inactive.
Potter, a former seventh round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills, spent the preseason with the Redskins.
Forbath is listed on the team's injury report as questionable and is considered a game-time decision after first experiencing soreness in the groin mid-week.
08/27/13 - K John Potter was waived by the Redskins Monday.
11/07/12 - PK John Potter, a rookie from Western Michigan who earned a roster spot out of training camp as a kickoff specialist, was waived. Potter was inactive the last two games as more of his kicks failed to reach the end zone. The team deemed it could no longer afford to carry a specialist for that job.
