Draft Scout *Robert Quinn News
11/26/14 - DE Robert Quinn (not injury related) did not practice Wednesday.
11/02/14 - DE Robert Quinn had two of the Rams' season-high eight sacks and forced a fumble Sunday in a 13-10 victory against San Francisco. Quinn went without a sack in his first five games but has five over his past three games. Last year, he finished second in the NFL with 19 sacks.
10/26/14 - DE Robert Quinn picked up sacks on back-to-back plays in the first half, giving him three on the season. Overall, the Rams have only six sacks in seven games.
10/19/14 - DE Robert Quinn finally notched his first sack of the season in the second quarter, capping a six-play stretch in which St. Louis nailed QB Russell Wilson three times. Quinn had a team-high 19 sacks last year, but like the team, hadn't been able to find the quarterback much until Sunday. The Rams came into the game with only one sack.
10/05/14 - DE Robert Quinn, who had 19 sacks last season, has none this season. The Rams failed to record a single sack Sunday and now have just one in four games. "There are some things you can't control and sacks don't always tell the whole story,'' Quinn said. "But it's just a fact that we have to do a better job getting pressure on the quarterback and the pass rush just wasn't there today. We got decent pressure on [quarterback Nick] Foles at times, but we have to hit him and get him on the ground. I know we have the talent and the will to sack the quarterback, but we have to start doing it instead of just talking about it.''
