 Draft Scout Albert Rosette News
12/15/12 - SCOUTING THE RUN DEFENSE: The rushing defensive statistics don't look too kind to Nevada, although a lot of the damage was done in the Air Force game in which Nevada allowed 461 rushing yards. The Wolf Pack have been average at best against the run. The team has given up 213 yards per game and 5.1 yards per carry. Linebacker Albert Rosette, who has 128 tackles this season, is the Wolf Pack's top run stopper. Hard-hitting strong safety Duke Williams, who has 100 tackles, also is an excellent run stopper.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "A couple of plays here or there, we could have had a couple more wins or a couple more losses. It could have gone either way. This group, we might not play great football all the time, but these guys don't quit. It's a good group of guys. Every game we've played has been a four-quarter game and we came up just short in this one." Wolf Pack linebacker Albert Rosette, after Nevada's 27-21 loss to Boise State. - The Sports Xchange

12/14/12 - 2012 ALL-MOUNTAIN WEST FIRST-TEAM (COACHES & MEDIA): LB Albert Rosette, Grad., Nevada, has been selected First Team All-Mountain West Conference (Coaches & Media selection) for the 2012 college football season. - Nevada football
11/19/12 - WEEK 12 MOUNTAIN WEST CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Albert Rosette, Nevada, Senior, Linebacker, Antioch, Calif./De La Salle HS...Senior linebacker Albert Rosette recorded a game-high 15 tackles (eight solo) and made several key stops as the Nevada defense made a second-half stand to lead the Wolf Pack to a 31-24 win at New Mexico. On the Lobos' first drive of the fourth quarter, with Nevada clinging to a seven-point lead, Rosette made five consecutive tackles, including four solo stops, to end UNM's drive. One of those tackles included a stop of Lobo quarterback Cole Gautsche for no gain on fourth-and-one to give the ball back to Nevada. On the next UNM possession, Rosette and teammate Dray Bell stopped running back Kasey Carrier a yard short of the marker on a third-down play to force another Lobo punt. - Mountain West football
10/29/12 - Three of the season's top four tackle performances occurred this past weekend, two of them by teammates. Nevada's Albert Rosette made a school-record 25 tackles and fellow Wolf Pack linebacker Dray Bell 22 in a 48-31 loss to Air Force. Bell, a senior, was making his first career start. UAB linebacker Marvin Burdette made a school-record 24 tackles in a 55-45 loss to Tulane. His big outing followed consecutive 17-tackle outings against East Carolina and Houston. Burdette averages a nation-leading 13 tackles. - AP Sports
10/26/12 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: MLB Albert Rosette -- The senior needs to have a big game to slow down Air Force's potent triple-option rushing attack. Rosette leads the team with 62 tackles, including two for loss. - The Sports Xchange
