03/29/13 - 2013 Southeastern Louisiana Pro Day: Nathan Stanley, QB (6-4 1/2, 218) - Stanley had a good workout. He’s got a big arm but lacks accuracy. He ran a 4.84-second 40-yard dash with the wind and a 4.93 seconds against the wind. He also performed a 29 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot-1 broad jump, a 4.48-second short shuttle run and a 7.36-second three-cone drill. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com
01/09/13 - Southeastern Louisiana University quarterback Nathan Stanley earned his second invitation to participate in a college football postseason game when he was selected to play in the 88th annual East-West Shrine Game that will be played Jan. 19 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. The game will kick off at 3 p.m. CST and will be televised on the NFL Network. Stanley will be one of four quarterbacks on the East Squad, coached by Jerry Glanville, and will split time with Collin Klein of Kansas State, Colby Cameron of Louisiana Tech and Sean Renfree of Duke.
In his first year as a starter, Stanley threw for 1,952 yards and nine touchdowns in helping Southeastern to a 5-6 record and a 5-2 mark in the Southland Conference. The former Ole Miss transfer threw for a season-high 280 yards against UT Martin before tossing for 247 yards and a touchdown in a come-from-behind victory over nationally-ranked McNeese State. - Southeastern Louisiana football
11/11/12 - Xavier Roberson rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns and also returned a kickoff 96 yards for a score and Southeastern Louisiana scored 22 unanswered points to defeat Stephen F. Austin 42-27 Saturday night. Rasheed Harrell added 151 yards and a TD for the Lions (4-6, 4-2 Southland Conference). Southeastern Louisiana had 278 yards rushing to offset a 124-yard performance by the Lumberjacks' Gus Johnson, whose 4 TDs tied a single-game school record. Johnson had three straight rushing scores to give Stephen F. Austin (4-6, 3-3) a 21-14 lead with 1:05 left before halftime. Roberson returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown, but the Lumberjacks blocked the extra-point attempt. Johnson rushed 11 yards for his final TD with 9:31 left in the third quarter, then it was all Lions. 09/23/12 - Nathan Stanley's 3-yard touchdown pass to Taylor Jenkins with 2:39 remaining pulled Southeastern Louisiana within one point of McNeese State and the Lions opted to go for the two-point play, converting on a Michael Chaney run to steal a 25-24 win Saturday night. Chaney also set up the late heroics, rushing for a 2-yard touchdown to pull the Lions within one touchdown with 3:26 remaining in the third quarter, in the first win of the season for Southeastern Louisiana (1-3, 1-0 Southland Conference). Robert Alford then intercepted Cody Stroud's pass on McNeese State's first offensive play after losing the lead, and the Lions ran the clock down to secure the win. Stanley had 247 passing yards and a score, while also rushing for 29 yards and a TD. Stroud passed for 164 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for the Cowboys (3-1, 0-1). - AP Sports
