 Draft Scout Andrew Taglianetti News
04/17/13 - 2013 NFL DRAFT: 124 FBS PROGRAMS, 124 POSSIBLE UNDRAFTED ROOKIE FREE AGENTS: PITTSBURGH: DB Andrew Taglianetti (5-10, 186, 4.58)...A well-accomplished individual, Taglianetti is a high-character individual with only average football skills but stood out on special teams with six career blocks. - Dane Brugler,
01/05/13 - Scouting the Pittsburgh pass defense: The Rebels' Donte Moncrief is coming off the two best games of his career against LSU and Mississippi State. The 6-foot-2 receiver stretches the field and is as good a wideout as Pitt has seen this season. An experienced secondary will have to attempt to make life tough for Moncrief while getting after QB Bo Wallace. The Panthers pass efficiency defense is 22nd nationally, but Wallace is 35th nationally in pass efficiency, which is very solid considering the daunting SEC defenses he faced. - The Sports Xchange
09/06/12 - KEEP AN EYE ON: The Panthers' defense and its ability to get off the field. The unit allowed YSU to convert an alarming 11-of-16 third-down attempts and its lone fourth-down attempt. "It's definitely frustrating that you work so hard on first and second down and then third down comes up and they were converting them," said senior free safety Andrew Taglianetti. "We've got a little work to do on third down and other stuff." - The Sports Xchange
