Draft Scout Tramain Thomas News
03/07/12 - Two SEC standouts I was surprised wasn't invited to the Combine showed that perhaps they should have been with strong workouts, Tuesday. Inside linebacker Jerry Franklin (6-1, 242 pounds) Franklin was not invited to the Combine but was clocked at 4.60 seconds in the 40-yard dash, a 6.90 second time in the three-cone drill and a 37.5" vertical jump. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com
01/06/12 - Scouting the Arkansas pass defense: Arkansas is only 10th in the SEC in pass defense, but in giving up under 198 yards a game through the air, the Razorbacks are No. 27 nationally. They have 11 interceptions, almost half of them (five) by S Tramain Thomas. DE Jake Buquette has eight of the team's 22 sacks even though he missed four games because of injuries. Defending the pass doesn't figure to be too much of a priority for the Hogs in this game, but Klein did throw for 12 touchdowns. - The Sports Xchange
