Draft Scout Kendall Wright News
09/14/15 - WR Kendall Wright had 101 yards receiving on four catches, including a 52-yard TD reception on the Titans' first series.
09/13/15 - WR Kendall Wright clearly looks to be Mariota's best weapon downfield, catching four passes for 101 yards and a 52-yard touchdown. The Titans will use their tight ends often, especially in the red zone, but Wright flashed speed that will help him become a downfield problem for opposing defenses trying to get to Mariota.
12/28/14 - --RB Shonn Greene nearly became the first Tennessee running back this season to rush for 100 yards, but fell short with 94 on just 11 carries. Greene missed time in the second half after appearing to injure his shoulder at the end of a highlight-film 52-yard run in the third quarter that saw him dump-truck S Mike Adams. Greene also ripped off a 17-yard run in the second quarter to set up the team's only TD.
WR Kendall Wright (ankle) limped off the field in the first half, but was able to return. Wright scored the team's only TD on a 6-yard reception in the second quarter, the highlight of a quiet day that him make only two catches for 9 yards. Wright also rushed once for 10 yards. He finished the season second on the team in receptions with 57 for 715 yards.
12/16/14 - WR Kendall Wright was limited in practice and said he would know by Wednesday if he could return to the lineup after missing two games.
12/15/14 - WR Kendall Wright missed his second straight game on Sunday, but might have a chance to return Thursday night against the Jaguars if he can handle the pain and soreness of trying to catch the football.
"We're hopeful that we'll get those guys back. Kendall (Wright) I expect to do something in practice tomorrow," Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "Once again, though, the X-ray on his hand looks good. It's just a question of being able to manage the pain of it, which we were hopeful that this would be the game that he'd be able to do it."
