Draft Scout Kendall Wright News
10/17/16 - WR Kendall Wright had a big day with eight catches for 133 yards and a touchdown. "It feels good. There are a lot of changes around here, but it feels good to win back-to-back games, but we got to get ready for the next one," he said.
10/16/16 - WR Kendall Wright grabbed eight passes for 133 yards and a spectacular touchdown Sunday, helping the Titans win consecutive games for the first time since the 2013 season.
It was the second-highest yardage total in a game for Wright, who was criticized by offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie during training camp and early in the season as he was slow to recover from a hamstring injury.
"I don't want him to lay off me," Wright said of the hard-nosed Robiskie. "I still have a whole lot of room to get better."
Prior to the game, Wright had caught just three passes for 23 yards, missing the season's first three games due to the injury.
Wright was integral in the Titans' final touchdown drive, converting two third downs with 4- and 11-yard receptions, respectively.
"Whenever my number is called," Wright said, "I've got to be ready to make a play."
10/10/16 - WR Kendall Wright caught just one pass Sunday, his second game back from a hamstring injury. Part of the reason was the Titans did not use their three-receiver sets except on third down, limiting the number of snaps Wright got against the Dolphins.
10/05/16 - WR Kendall Wright should continue to get better on his routes and timing after playing for the first time last week. Wright was out seven weeks with a hamstring injury, and coach Mike Mularkey said it is as if Wright were in his second or third week of training camp after missing so much time.
10/03/16 - WR Kendall Wright saw his first action since last Dec. 27, after missing all of preseason and the first three games due to a hamstring injury. Wright had two catches for 14 yards but also "rushed" some of his routes and breaks, according to coach Mike Mularkey.
