His 65 yards ranks fourth in team history by a rookie making his NFL debut. And Wright's 54-yard reception is the second-longest by a Vikings rookie making his debut. The only one that was longer was Adrian Peterson's 60-yard touchdown in 2007.
11/11/12 - WR Jarius Wright, a rookie fourth-round draft pick, caught a 54-yard pass to the Detroit 1-yard line on just the second play of his NFL career. The 18th receiver selected in April's draft, Wright had been inactive for the first nine games. He was active only because Percy Harvin was inactive with a sprained ankle. Wright later capped the first scoring drive of the game with a 3-yard touchdown reception. He finished with three catches for 65 yards.
10/01/12 - WR Jarius Wright was inactive, but not because of the ankle injury that has slowed him since the last preseason game. He simply isn't ready to contribute at this point.
