 Draft Scout *Chris Patrick News
11/05/09 - OT Chris Patrick will suit up for his first game with the 49ers after being signed off the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad two weeks ago. Patrick will serve as the backup at both tackle positions behind starters Adam Snyder and Barry Sims.
10/28/09 - OT Chris Patrick signed with San Francisco, which placed Tony Pashos on IR on Tuesday. Patrick (6-5, 305) originally signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He was released by the Giants that August, and was later signed to the Green Bay Packers practice squad, where he spent the remainder of the season. Patrick was released by the Packers and signed with the Detroit Lions in May 2008. He was released by the Lions and signed by the 49ers, only to be released prior to the regular season. The Philadelphia Eagles then signed him to their practice squad where he was for the first 13 weeks before being signed to their active roster. Patrick was inactive for the final four games of the season and the first round of the playoffs before being active for their final two postseason games. Patrick was released by the Eagles on prior to the 2009 season and was signed to the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad where he spent four games this season.
09/30/09 - OT Chris Patrick (released by Eagles 9/1) signed with the Chiefs' practice squad.
09/01/09 - OT Chris Patrick was waived by the Eagles.
06/19/07 - Junior Chris Patrick has started the majority of games at left tackle this season after taking over the starter’s role late during his sophomore campaign. He has blocked for an improved Husker offense that ranks among the nation’s leaders in rushing, passing, total offense and scoring this season. Patrick has protected the back side for senior Zac Taylor, who rewrote most of Nebraska’s individual single-season and career passing marks this season. The 6-4, 290-pound Patrick also has blocked for an NU running game averaging more than 175 yards per game. - Nebraska Sports Info
