 Draft Scout Tashard Choice News
02/25/14 - RB tashard Choice was released by the Colts. Choice, 29, rushed for a combined 170 yards on 46 carries last season in 12 games with the Buffalo Bills and three games with Indianapolis after the Colts signed him on Dec. 9. In six NFL seasons, Choice has 1,579 rushing yards on 372 carries and 10 touchdowns.
12/18/13 - RB Tashard Choice might be in the mix to rotate with RB Trent Richardson Sunday at Kansas City. Choice, who had a kickoff return and 18 yards rushing in last week's game with Houston, was added to the roster primarily as a special teams performer. If RB Donald Brown is not cleared to play against the Chiefs, Choice will see work on offense as well.
12/11/13 - RB Tashard Choice is expected to get a look in practice this week on special teams. Choice will be the third running back for Sunday's home game with Houston but it hasn't been decided if he will be active. The former Georgia Tech standout may also get some work on offense, but his workload - if any - will largely depend on how quickly he can pick up the Colts' playbook.
12/09/13 - RB Tashard Choice was signed to the Colts' roster on Monday. Choice was recently released by Buffalo. He has also played for Dallas. Choice takes the spot of injured RB/KR Chris Rainey on the active roster. He is expected to handle kickoffs and punts for the Colts.
12/04/13 - RB Tashard Choice was released by the Bills, who will likely activate rookie running back Ronnie Wingo for Sunday's game in Tampa. Choice, third on the depth chart behind C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson, had only 35 carries for 126 yards this season. During his time in Buffalo, which began in November 2011, Choice gained 471 yards during his time with the Bills. "I talked to Tashard and I told him he did not do anything that made us look to do it," said coach Doug Marrone. "It was more of us trying to better ourselves. I've always appreciated his enthusiasm here, how he's gone to work here, but at the end of the day, you have to win and make sure you're getting better."
