12/18/12 - K Greg Zuerlein missed a 57-yard field-goal attempt Sunday. Zuerlein began the season by hitting 15 field-goal attempts in a row. Since then, he has made 6-of-13.
11/26/12 - PK Greg Zuerlein continues to struggle with field goals on the road. Zuerlein missed three field-goal attempts, all to the left, in a loss to Miami, and missed a 35-yard attempt to the left Sunday against Arizona.
10/14/12 - PK Greg Zuerlein began the day by extending his field-goal streak to 15 straight, then missed his final three to the left, including a final-second long enough 66-yarder that would have tied the game and set an NFL record. The biggest miss was 37 yards at the end of the first half.
10/07/12 - K Greg Zuerlein hit a 53-yard field goal to extend his perfect streak this season to 13 with four from 50 yards or more. In Sunday's win over Seattle, Zuerlein accounted for 13 of the Rams' 19 points, with four field goals. He twice broke the previous team record of 57 with a 58-yarder and then one from 60 yards.
Talking about the decision to try the 60-yarder, Fisher said, "I was on the headsets and I said, ‘Field goal,' and somebody said ‘Field goal?' I said, ‘Yeah, it's only 60. It's well within his range.'"
