Post-Draft Outlook:
A closer look at the Cardinals' picks: Round 4/131 -- Greg Toler, CB, 6-0, 185, St. Paul's College...Another surprise, since cornerback wasn't labeled an area of need. Toler runs the 40 in the high 4.3s and has the raw skills to have success eventually. The Cardinals had good luck last year with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, another small-school corner. - by The Sports Xchange

 Draft Scout Greg Toler News
08/26/14 - CB Greg Toler (bruised knee) was able to practice Monday. Toler was hurt against New Orleans Saturday night when he banged knees with a Saints wide receiver. He would have been able to return to the game if needed. Toler, though, may be held out of Thursday night's preseason finale at Cincinnati.
08/25/14 - CB Greg Toler (bruised knee) had to come out of the New Orleans game. He was checked out on the sideline and was cleared to return. Toler should be fine if needed to play against the Bengals on Thursday night.
08/05/14 - CB Greg Toler missed large portions of the 2013 season with a series of injuries. Toler, signed as a free agent before last season after beginning his career with the Arizona Cardinals, has been having an outstanding training camp. "He's having as good a camp as anybody I mean through the 9-10 days, whatever we got in. He's been spectacular. He's been consistent. The interceptions that he's making at practice are phenomenal," Pagano stated. "He's worked on his technique but more importantly, it is a health issue with him. He hasn't, I mean he understands that, we understand that. But he's being proactive, he's being better than he's ever been as far as taking care of his body."
01/06/14 - CB Greg Toler (groin) has been placed on injured reserve. Toler has been bothered by a strained groin since the Oct. 20 game with Denver. He missed several weeks of practice and games but was brought back four weeks ago against Kansas City. He saw limited work against the Chiefs and Jaguars. Toler started against Kansas City but was limited. He was taken out of the game after giving up a 71-yard touchdown pass to WR Donnie Avery.
01/02/14 - CB Greg Toler (groin) fully practiced on Wednesday. He did not participate in Tuesday's workout. Toler has seen limited playing time the last two weeks after being sidelined for several weeks. He was hurt against Denver on Oct. 22. His status for Saturday's game with Kansas City remains undetermined.
