 Draft Scout T.Y. Hilton News
08/22/16 - WR T.Y. Hilton sat out Saturday's game versus Baltimore as he nursed a sore hamstring. Hilton was hurt one week earlier in the preseason opener at Buffalo as he stretched out to catch a sideline pass. While the injury is not considered to be serious, it was decided to sit him against the Ravens as a precaution.
08/12/16 - WR T. Y. Hilton had a string camp, according to quarterback Andrw Luck. Said Luck:"[He] consistently every day came out and [was] probably the best player at practice. It feels that way, and that's what an elite player is. I remember being a rookie with T.Y. and watching Reggie Wayne practice every day. He was probably the best player on the field every day, and he practiced like it. . . . From the stories I've heard, that was Marvin [Harrison] every day on the practice field making plays and doing it 100 percent and going all out. So I think T.Y. is carrying on the tradition of great, hard-working, practice wide receivers on this team. He's special. He's fun to play with."
07/30/16 - WR T.Y. Hilton continues to draw the attention of the coaching staff. Hilton has been the Colts' most productive receiver since joining the team as a rookie in 2012. But it looks as if he is priming himself for perhaps his best year yet. Head coach Chuck Pagano said that the receiver had a great offseason "Maybe the best offseason he's ever had," the Colts coach said.
05/24/16 - WR T.Y. Hilton earned kudos from head coach Chuck Pagano after Tuesday's OTA practice. "T.Y's having as good of an offseason as anybody," Pagano said. "I've never seen this guy practice as fast as he's practicing right now. He leads by example. And he's doing it day in, day out."
12/30/15 - WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) was limited in Wednesday's workout. Hilton is expected to be in the Colts' starting offensive lineup on Sunday when Tennessee comes to town.
