09/04/10 - Jay Campbell rushed for three touchdowns and Chris Lum passed for 288 yards to lead Lehigh to a 28-14 season-opening win at Drake on Saturday night. Campbell, who rushed for 93 yards on 22 carries, scored two touchdowns in the first quarter and added a 28-yard TD run with 4:10 remaining in the game. Drake closed to within a touchdown, 21-14, on a 12-yard TD pass from Mik Piatkowski to Drew Blackmon with 7:44 to play. Blackmon led all Bulldog receivers with five catches for 40 yards. Lum completed 23 of 36 passes with one touchdown. It was the first game that involved a plane trip for Lehigh, which is in Bethlehem, Pa., since a Division I-AA playoff contest against Furman in Greenville, S.C., in 2001. The Mountain Hawks last flew to a regular-season game in 2000, when they played at Wofford (Spartanburg, S.C.). - AP Sports

12/26/08 - 2008 ALL-PATRIOT LEAGUE FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM: OL Will Rackley, Lehigh, So., has been selected All-Patriot League Football First Team for the 2008 college football season as voted on by the league head coaches. Sophomore Will Rackley makes it five consecutive seasons that Lehigh has placed an offensive lineman on the All-League First Team. Rackley started all 11 games for the Mountain Hawks this season, helping lead Lehigh to an average of 25.6 points and 216.7 pass yards per game. A native of Georgia, Rackley has started nearly every game of his career along the O-line for the Mountain Hawks. - Lehigh football
