05/02/16 - WR Tavon Austin had his fifth-year option exercised by the Rams for the 2017 season. The Rams will pay Austin $12.268 million in 2017. He was a first-round pick in 2013.
Austin 25, led the Rams in 2015 with 52 receptions and five touchdowns and was third on the team with 473 yards. He has played in 44 games for the Rams over the last three years. Austin also rushed 52 times for 434 yards and four touchdowns and ran his streak of seasons with a punt return touchdown to three.
11/29/15 - WR Tavon Austin had 63 yards rushing, including a 60-yarder and a TD run on Sunday following an emotional week after his close friend and Rams WR Stedman Bailey was shot in the head late Tuesday in the Miami area. "He's dealing with a lot of emotions right now," said QB Nick Foles. "He plays with a ton of heart."

Some games, it won't work. Sometimes you have a great defensive coordinator who will take me out of the game like last week (against Pittsburgh)."
