08/20/14 - DT Michael Brockers, who missed the first two preseason games because of an ankle injury, returned to full practice participation Tuesday. Coach Jeff Fisher the practice for Brockers was "like he hadn't been hurt. I'd say that's a good sign."

07/31/13 - DT Michael Brockers missed the first three games of the 2012 season because of a high ankle sprain. He came back and played well, but Brockers believes things will be even better after totally healing and also having February surgery for bone spurs in his other ankle.
After a full offseason in the conditioning program, coach Jeff Fisher said, "Mike did a great job coming back off the high ankle and really finished up strong toward the second half of the season. He's worked very hard. He's changed his body and we think he can be a dominating player in the front. ... He's gained some weight, but it's good weight.
"He's gained a tremendous amount of strength. (Line) coach (Mike) Waufle, like the rest of them, is doing a good job with his hands and his understanding."
Brockers said he increased his weight from 315 to 325 by working out and eating right. He said, "I'm as quick as I was at 315. I feel stronger and faster. And, I'm more comfortable, knowing my plays and being able to go really fast."
As for the team's defense, Brockers said, "We can be a dominant force. Everyone is excited to show the world what we can do."
12/31/12 - DT Michael Brockers left the game with an ankle injury but returned. Brockers never totally recovered from a high ankle sprain he suffered in the final preseason game that caused him to miss the first three games of the regular season.
