10/10/17 - DT Fletcher Cox missed his second straight game with a calf injury Sunday and remains uncertain for Thursday night's game against Carolina. Head coach Doug Pederson said Monday he was hoping Cox might be able to participate in the team's walk-through later in the day, but he wasn't sure.
10/10/17 - DT Fletcher Cox of the Philadelphia Eagles was a full participant in Tuesday's practice after sitting out the last two games with a calf injury. Cox, who was listed as limited in Monday's walk-through session, told reporters that he was uncertain if he would play for the Eagles (4-1) in Thursday's game against the Carolina Panthers (4-1). The All-Pro injured his calf late in the second quarter of a 27-24 win over the New York Giants on Sept. 24.
10/10/17 - DT Fletcher Cox, who missed last week's game with a calf injury, was listed as a full participant in Tuesday's practice. But it was a very light session. It still is uncertain whether he'll play Thursday. The Eagles hope to make a decision on Wednesday. The Eagles seemed focused on getting him back for their Week 7 game against Washington. But if he's healthy, the All-Pro defensive tackle would give them a big boost against the 4-1 Panthers.
10/08/17 - DT Fletcher Cox (calf) did not play Sunday for Philadelphia against Arizona.
10/06/17 - DT Fletcher Cox of the Philadelphia Eagles was ruled out for Sunday's home game against the Arizona Cardinals with a calf injury. Cox will be sidelined for a second straight week. "It's Week 5 and we've got a lot of football left and he's progressing nicely so we've just got to be careful," coach Doug Pederson told reporters Friday.
