Draft Scout *Stephon Gilmore News
11/20/14 - CB Stephon Gilmore has four career forced fumbles, tied for second-most among cornerbacks in the NFL since 2012, the year he entered the league.
09/15/14 - CB Stephon Gilmore returned after missing the opener with a groin injury and he saw only five balls thrown his way in Buffalo's win over Miami. Four of those balls were caught for 41 yards, including a TD reception by Mike Wallace, who had to make a great grab on a fade route.
09/11/14 - CB Stephon Gilmore participated fully in practice Wednesday after sitting out the opener with a sore groin.
"I feel a lot better this week," he said. "I came into it wanting to play, but I went out there and warmed up Sunday and I thought it was better for me to not go out, it was better for the team to not go out and play so this week I feel a lot better."
The Bills missed Gilmore. Even though Corey Graham played very well in his place, the other cornerback, Leodis McKelvin, really struggled as he allowed 10 pass receptions on 14 targets. "Corey's a vet," said Gilmore. "He's been in this league a long time making plays. It was big for him to step up and make plays and that's what he's been doing. I think this is his seventh or eighth year in the league."
09/08/14 - CB Stephon Gilmore was inactive because of a groin injury and his status for next week against Miami is unknown.
09/03/14 - CB Stephon Gilmore was limited due to a groin injury. Gilmore has been hampered due to his offseason hip surgery, and now the groin adds further concern, especially given the opponent this week is the Bears with Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery.
