12/26/12 - RB Lamar Miller has only rushed 46 times for 237 yards this year, and did not have a carry between Weeks 5-13 as he took a back seat to Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas.
But Miller carried 10 times for 73 yards Sunday against Buffalo, and his development has impressed the coaching staff this year. Expect Miller to have a bigger role in the offense next season.
"Lamar is a very smooth back and he's more powerful than you'd think," offensive coordinator Mike Sherman said. "He made quite a few yards after being hit and moving forward he made a couple plays there with his body and his feet. It was good to see. He made some great reads and I think he'll just keep getting better. I've always felt like he's a talented young man and he certainly showed it yesterday."
