12/13/13 - 2013 ALL-MAC FIRST TEAM: Running Back - Branden Oliver, Buffalo...Oliver, who was also named to the All-MAC First Team in 2011, broke his own single season school rushing record with 1,421 yards and has scored 15 touchdowns this year. The senior running back has also broken the school record for career rushing yards with 3,935 yards. - Buffalo football
11/21/13 - Brandon Oliver ran for two touchdowns and the defense added another on a fumble recovery Tuesday night as Buffalo routed winless Miami (Ohio) 44-7. The Bulls (8-3, 6-1 Mid-American Conference) racked up 517 yards of total offense and held the RedHawks (0-11, 0-7) to just 200 total yards. Anthone Taylor led a Buffalo ground attack that gained 311 total yards. He had 17 carries for 154 yards, and Oliver gained 150 yards on 26 carries, including TD runs of 1 and 10 yards.

Joe Licata threw a 1-yard TD pass to Alex Dennison, Tony Daniel threw an 11-yarder to Devon Hughes and Patrick Clarke kicked three field goals. Buffalo's defense scored when Okoye Houston scooped up a fumble, which Khalil Mack forced in sacking Austin Gearing, and returned it 60 yards. Drew Kummer had the RedHawks' only TD, on a 2-yard run at 3:04 in the fourth quarter. - AP Sports

11/11/13 - WEEK 11 MAC EAST DIVISION OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Buffalo RB Branden Oliver...Senior running back Branden Oliver (Miami, Fla.) rushed for a career-high 249 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-3 win over Ohio. Oliver broke the school's Division I era single-game rushing record with his 249 yards on 34 carries (7.3 avg.). Oliver scored Buffalo's first two touchdowns of the game with a 2-yard and 13-yard score. - MAC football
11/06/13 - Branden Oliver had 249 yards rushing and two touchdowns to lead Buffalo to a 30-3 victory over Ohio on Tuesday night. Joe Licata threw two touchdown passes to Alex Neutz as the Bulls (7-2, 5-0 Mid-American Conference) won their seventh straight game. It's the Bulls' longest winning streak since they won seven straight spanning the 1958-59 seasons. Neutz had four receptions for 79 yards. The two scores increased his career total to 28 touchdowns receiving, matching the school record set by Naaman Roosevelt from 2006-09. "I'm very proud of these kids, but we're not done yet," Buffalo coach Jeff Quinn said.

With three games left, the Bulls control their own destiny in a bid to win the second MAC East Division title since joining the conference in 1999. Buffalo is guaranteed only its second winning record since 1997, after going 8-6 in 2008. It's a different story for Ohio. With three games left, the Bobcats (6-3, 3-2) were all but mathematically eliminated from winning the East division. Tyler Tettleton was 14-for-31 passing for 126 yards as the Bobcats' offense was kept in check. Ohio managed just 233 yards, and its only points came on Josiah Yazdani's 23-yard field goal. - AP Sports
