05/13/14 - Packers signed 12 rookie free agents: Perkins, 23, posted 4,253 all-purpose yards (second in school history) and 2,554 rushing yards (fifth in school annals) during his career. He started 12 games as a senior in 2013, rushing for 542 yards and two TDs on 137 carries (4.0 avg.) and adding 27 catches for 248 yards (9.2 avg.) and three TDs. As a junior in ’12, Perkins was named second-team All-Southeastern Conference by The Associated Press after rushing for 1,024 yards and eight TDs on 205 attempts (5.0 avg.). - Green Bay Packers
