11/15/17 - ILB Zach Vigil was signed by Washington on Wednesday. The Redskins have two players at that position on injured reserve (Mason Foster, Will Compton). Vigil played in the final two games of the 2016 season for the Redskins and was with the team until the end of training camp this summer before being cut.
12/21/16 - LB Zach Vigil was released Tuesday. Vigil, a second-year undrafted player from Utah State, was mostly a special teams player. He missed the first part of the season recovering from a back injury.
11/09/16 - LB Zach Vigil made an immediate impact in his season debut last week against the New York Jets. Vigil, who spent the first half of the season on the NFI (non-football injury) list with a back ailment, played on all the special teams and had a key block on RB Kenyan Drake's 96-yard game-winning kickoff return in the fourth quarter.
10/19/16 - LB Zach Vigil, who opened the season on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list because of a back injury, did individual drills Wednesday. Vigil, undrafted last season out of Utah State, was a special teams standout and fill-in from scrimmage. He had 18 tackles last season and could help on special teams and from scrimmage.
