12/09/13 - WR Stephen Hill (knee) was declared inactive Sunday, two days after he was downgraded to questionable on the injury report. It was the first missed game of the season for Hill, who has been hampered by knee woes since he missed the final three games of last season with an LCL sprain that required surgery. Hill has 24 catches for 342 yards and one touchdown this year but just 11 catches for 109 yards in his last nine games and one catch for two yards in his last four games.
11/25/13 - WR Stephen Hill remained in the Jets' starting lineup Sunday but didn't record a catch for the third straight game as the Jets fell to the Ravens, 19-3. Hill's lone target appeared to come on the Jets' final garbage time drive. Even though he started, Hill played just 26 snaps, fourth-most among Jets wide receivers and ahead of only Josh Cribbs. Hill has 23 catches for 340 yards and one touchdown this year, but just 10 catches for 107 yards and no touchdowns in his last eight games.
11/21/13 - WR Stephen Hill confirmed Wednesday that his practice reps have been cut. Coach Rex Ryan said Monday that Hill, who was targeted seven times Sunday but endured his second straight catch-less game in the Jets' 37-14 loss to the Bills, was in danger of losing his starting job. Hill has just 10 catches for 107 yards in his last seven games and 23 catches for 340 yards and one touchdown overall in 10 games.
11/21/13 - --WR Stephen Hill was demoted and will not start this week against the Baltimore Ravens, coach Rex Ryan announced. Hill had his second consecutive game without a catch in Sunday's blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Hill played 104 of a possible 121 snaps in the past two weeks.
