11/18/15 - TE Tyler Eifert on Wednesday stood at his locker and owned up to the worst performance of his young NFL career when he had as many drops as catches on Monday night. Eifert, who has had a Pro Bowl season to date, said he was glad to get back to practice and move on from the loss to the Texans. "I think the best thing for me is to go out and practice today and get back into the groove of things," Eifert said. "That's never really happened that bad to me before. It's hard enough just to get the ball thrown to you to get open. So I hate dropping passes, and everybody does. It's one of those crazy things. You're not trying to drop the ball, but it happens. You move on and we'll be fine."
11/16/15 - TE Tyler Eifert had possibly the worst night of his career Monday, committing three key drops. He had three catches for 26 yards while being targeted seven times. "There's no excuse for it," Eifert said. "I drop one and I start fighting it. It's unacceptable."
11/07/15 - TE Tyler Eifert had five catches for 53 yards and three scores on Thursday giving him 37 receptions for 434 yards and nine TDs this season, moving him past the Patriots' Rob Gronkowski for the NFL lead in TD catches by a tight end. Eifert also tied a Bengals franchise single-season mark for TD receptions by a tight end.
11/05/15 - TE Tyler Eifert caught three touchdown passes in Thursday's win over Cleveland. He tied a club record with his ninth touchdown catch of the season. Eifert now leads all NFL tight ends in that category.
10/14/15 - TE Tyler Eifert was prepared to team up with Jermaine Gresham to give the Bengals a one-two punch at tight end last season. That plan was squelched when Eifert suffered a season-ending injury. "We had two threats at the start of last season and then we lost Tyler," QB Andy Dalton said. "Just his presence out there can change a lot." Now that he's healthy, and with Dalton and the Bengals' offense firing on all cylinders, Eifert is putting up huge numbers. Through five games, the Notre Dame product has 24 catches for 312 yards and five touchdowns. "I've always had confidence in myself. I know what I can do," Eifert said. "Finally getting that chance to go out there and help this offense win games is something that I always thought I could do. (Until this season) it was something that was just talked about."
