Draft Scout Jeremiah Sirles News
10/20/16 - OT Jeremiah Sirles (knee) was limited again in practice on Thursday. He is expected to be healthy enough to play this weekend. The Vikings could move the new starting right tackle back to the bench in a multi-position backup role. At some point soon, the team is expected to move T.J. Clemmings back to right tackle to make room for Jake Long at left tackle.
10/19/16 - OL Jeremiah Sirles (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He's expected to play on Sunday.
10/10/16 - RT Jeremiah Sirles started for the second time in his career and the first since his rookie year in San Diego in 2014. He stepped in for Andre Smith, who was inactive with a triceps injury and placed on injured reserve on Monday. Sirles held his own, although he was called for two false starts in a home game.
10/05/16 - OL Jeremiah Sirles might have proved he belongs somewhere as one of the five-best offensive linemen on the team. A week after playing the last 2 1/2 quarters for injured left guard Alex Boone (hip), Sirles had to step in for right tackle Andre Smith for the last 3 1/2 quarters in Monday night's win over the Giants. Right tackle would be the likely spot for Sirles to be given a chance to start. With Sirles on the field, the Vikings outscored Carolina and the Giants 46-10.
10/04/16 - OL Jeremiah Sirles is proving to be a versatile and valuable backup. The Vikings outscored Carolina 22-0 with Sirles playing the final 39 minutes at left guard in Week 3. Monday night, the Vikings outscored the Giants 24-10 with Sirles playing the final 52 minutes at right tackle for the injured Smith.
