07/23/12 - 2012 BIG SKY PRESEASON ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM (MEDIA): LB Todd Davis, Jr., Sacramento State, has been selected Preseason All-Big Sky football for the 2012 college football season as chosen by select media and sports information directors in the league. The junior was one of five linebackers named to the team which was voted upon by media members across the conference. As a sophomore in 2011, Davis earned honorable mention all-Big Sky honors after leading the team with 96 total tackles. The Palmdale, Calif., native also had 5.5 tackles-for-loss, including one sack, forced two fumbles and intercepted a pass. Davis was one of the more consistent players for the Hornets, recording at least seven tackles in nine of the team's 11 games. His career high came in the team's 29-28 overtime upset of Oregon State where he had 12 stops. Davis was named the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week after tallying 10 tackles and forcing a pair of fumbles in the 14-0 shutout at Northern Colorado. - Sacramento State football
