11/07/16 - LB Josh Martin (concussion) was injured during the Jets' 27-23 loss on Sunday afternoon. He is in the concussion protocol and his availability for this Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams is unknown. Martin was credited with a half-sack -- his first quarterback takedown since he was also credited with a half-sack while playing for the Kansas City Chiefs on Dec. 14, 2014 -- before exiting.

11/25/15 - LB Josh Martin was signed to the Jets' active roster off the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad on Tuesday. The Jets will be the fourth team for Martin, who signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Columbia in 2013 and spent two seasons with the Chiefs before being released this summer. Martin signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sept. 22 but played just two games before being waived/injured on Oct. 7. He signed with the Colts on Oct. 31. Martin plays mostly on special teams and has 28 tackles, one forced fumble and a half-sack in 21 career games.
