01/03/14 - 2013 ASSOCIATED PRESS FCS SECOND TEAM ALL-AMERICAN: DB Nick Addison, Bethune Cookman, Jr.,...Addison completed the 2013 campaign ranked No. 21 in the FCS for interceptions (0.4 per game), as well as ranking second in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) with five total picks for 63 yards and a touchdown. Against Virginia Union, Addison returned an interception for score 38 yards in the Wildcats’ home-opening victory. He now has a team-best nine interceptions in his three-year career.
In helping Bethune-Cookman to consecutive MEAC titles the past two years, Addison finished 2013 with a team second-best matching 64 tackles (34 solo), including three tackles behind the line and one fumble recovery. Adding to his team-best five interceptions, he was second on the team with seven pass breakups and was tied for the lead with two forced fumbles.
